Welcome to the Greater Miami Tax Institute's Website!
The GMTI is a non-profit organization and was started in 1961. It is a an organization that is focused on technical topics and conversations dealing with technical tax topics. Because there are plenty of organizations that have meetings solely for marketing and networking, we do not allow marketing at our meetings, however we do encourage our members to form strong business relationships.
The GMTI is comprised of Tax Attorneys, CPAs focused in taxation and CLUs. We hold dinner meetings in Miami 8 times per year with guest speakers on a variety of topics. Our members and our Past Presidents are among the top professionals in tax in Miami (and some nation-wide in their subject areas).
Our members consist of: practictioners that are authors of treatises and books, high-profile litigators, and professionals with other published articles. We also have some new professionals that are interested in growing their knowledge and forming strong professional relationships quickly.
Our members discuss technical topics with each other, earn CLE & CPE, stay updated on current tax topics, increase their expertise knowledge base and refine their tax planning techniques at our meetings.
The membership fees are $350 per year; guest fees are $50 per meeting. We strongly encourage our members to bring guests to increase our membership.
